HOW MUCH WILL A SWIMMING POOL COST?
ANSWER: There are a lot of variables to consider when estimating the cost of a swimming pool. To start with, we must determine the shap, how deep it will be, and what type of equipment will be required, such as pumping system, filter, heater, lighting, remote switching, etc. We must also take into account the site itself: what are the requirements to enter the area for excavation, such as fences, trees and bushes, and where does the piping for gas, water and electricity lie. What type of materials will be used (tile, plaster, rock, or gemstone) for the construction, as well as coping, decking, raised areas and any special features, such as waterfalls, sheer descents or fountains. A price can be quoted once we have decided on all of these factories and we pride ourselves in being able to build a great swimming pool at a very reasonable price.
WILL THE PRICE BE CHEAPER IN THE WINTER TIME?
ANSWER: It really does not matter what time of year you build a pool. Our prices are based on a formula of material, labor and overhead costs. Pool prices vary most when these basic prices change.
DO YOU HAVE FINANCING AVAILABLE?
ANSWER: We do not offer our own financing options, but we do recommend a highly reputable company that will be more than happy to assist you with any of your financing needs. Please ask our salesman for more information.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A SWIMMING POOL AND SPA?
ANSWER: There are a lot of variables to consider when scheduling the work and at certain times of the year our sub-contractors are very busy (generally starting in the spring and through the end of summer), which could extend the time frame, as well as occasional weather delays. In genera, however, a fairly normal sized pool with the traditional features will take about five weeks. A more elaborate pool could take a few weeks longer, while an even simpler pool could be finished sooner.
CAN YOU MAKE THE INTERIOR OF OUR SWIMMING POOL A DIFFERENT COLOR OTHER THAN WHITE?
ANSWER: Yes, we have the ability to use any of the latest colors and pool materials that are available today. Whether you want plaster, 3-M Color Quartz or gemstone, we build it. We also offer Pebble Tec.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT TO DO TO TREAT THE WATER ONCE MY SWIMMING POOL IS FINISHED?
ANSWER: As part of our contract we will provide you with a pool cleaning service that will work with you to keep your pool water clean and free of bacteria for one month. After that you may decide to keep the service, hire someone else, or do the pool cleaning and chemical balancing yourself.
WE WOULD LIKE A SWIMMING POOL BUT WE DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO OUR YARD THAT A TRACTOR CAN GET THROUGH. CAN WE STILL BUILD A SWIMMING POOL?
ANSWER: There is generally a way that we can get into the yard with our equipment. If there is no normal access, we may use a crane to lift the bobcat over a fence or wall. However, there have been some cases where we had to knock down a fence and rebuild it later.
WHAT DO I GET WITH A BASIC SWIMMING POOL PACKAGE?
ANSWER: Our packages come with Sta Rite 2VST Filter Pump, 300 sq ft Sta Rite System III Filter, 500 watt standard white pool light, Sand Shark Pool Vac, Maintenance Kit and Telepole, Start-Up with 30Day Pool Service. 500 sq ft reg/salt finish deck, group 1 tile on the water line, and white plaster.
WILL THE EQUIPMENT USE A LOT OF ELECTRICITY?
ANSWER: To help keep energy costs down, we use a Sta-Rite 2VST filter pump.
WHY ARE THERE DAYS WHEN NO WORK IS BEING DONE ON OUR SWIMMING POOL?
ANSWER: You may not see workmen in your yard periodically, and this is normal. We schedule the work based on a number of factors, such as the availability of our teams to do certain phases of the work, inspections, equipment and material delivery, etc. Be assured that this is typical and your pool should still be completed on time.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN PLASTER AND GEMSTONE?
ANSWER: Plaster is the standard finish on most pools and it can be the traditional white or colored, if you wish. The colored plaster is very attractive, but it can discolor or stain. Gemstone is a beautiful, pebble looking finish. While it is more costly, it does not stain or discolor. It is not as smooth as plaster and may seem a little rough on the bottom of more sensitive feet.
